My signature reading is devoted entirely to Mars, the red dread planet. Delighting in strife, accident, and injury, Mars’ energy is inflaming and aggravating. He is a sharpened knife, a loaded gun, a powder keg. How are we to handle such fierce and fiery energy?

Mars is more than war, quarrels, and thorns in your side. He is a necessary and vital component of a live well-lived. Mars grants courage, confidence, and fortitude. He smiles upon those who are unafraid to bare their teeth, those who can sit in the fire and stay with the trouble.

My intention is to rehabilitate Mars without defanging him and to assist each individual with understanding how they can best embody the red planet in their own life. In this offering I take stock of Mars’ house placement, essential dignity, decanic character, phase cycle, planetary and stellar relationships to arrive at an archetypal image.
